See what our customers have to say!

I had a residential rooftop HVAC replaced, as well as 2 tank water heaters replaced with tankless. Had a series of contractors bid who mostly came back with absurd prices, substandard equipment, unprofessional assessment, or otherwise slimy sales behavior, including outright lies. Sierra Valley Mechanical was none of that. Their estimator is one of their main installers, and knows everything, climbed in my attic and on my roof, recommended absolutely first rate equipment, and came back with reasonable prices. He and his team installed it on time, and handled every difficulty. I ended up with what I would consider impressively clean work that involved plumbing, electrical and hvac.

I have a series of other jobs and they will be my first choice. Plus they are personable and very easy to deal with. They coordinated the crane, the building inspectors, the equipment purchases, and all the other various moving parts. Very happy with them.

The team from Sierra Valley Mechanical were outstanding from start to finish with installing our new system. Of the 5 quotes we got, Matt was by far the most on-target with what we wanted without trying to oversell or run up the cost and was honest and professional throughout. The whole team was very knowledgeable and friendly and the installation was smooth sailing. Everything was complete exactly on time and looks and performs exactly as we hoped. HIGHLY recommend Sierra Valley Mechanical and will definitely use them again in the future

They fixed a broken solar system and it works better than ever. The employees were friendly and respectful. They left no mess. I would not only use them again, but highly recommend their services. Thank you!

I had my Tesla wall charger installed by Sierra Valley Mechanical a couple of days ago. I am very happy with the entire process. Matt was very pleasant to work with. He got back to me and answered all my questions. Since my electric panel was full, he suggested I add a sub-panel which makes sense since my panel is crowed with double and quad breakers. Adding a sub-panel allows me room for future circuits.

The office worked around my schedule for the installation date and time. Since I am with SMUD, they talk to me about the requirements to qualify for the EV installation rebate. this is great since it helps with the overall cost for the installation. The contract they send me listed the materials and work to be done. I requested an update to one of the item and that was done the next day.

installation day, Seth came a few minutes before the arranged time. i was surprised. He was polite and informed which circuit he needs to shut off to move the breakers. Overall, he did a very good job with the install. I was able to setup the charger and charged my EV that same day.

I will call Sierra Valley Mechanically for my future electrical work

We had a great experience with this company and their whole team, especially their back office who handled the paperwork! I got multiple follow up calls to make sure the whole process was complete and everyone was so punctual. We had an EV charger installed and it went really seamlessly from the initial onsite check, install, and getting the permit filed and inspected by the city. They also gave us a really fair price and adjusted their initial estimate after seeing what already existed in our house. Would definitely recommend them to any friends/neighbors that need this service done!

I discovered Sierra Valley Mechanical through SMUD’s heat-pump rebate program in which I reached out to three different companies. I completed the website form on a Sunday night and didn’t expect to hear from anyone until Monday morning. To my surprise, I received an email from the owner, Mike, in about five minutes! We went back and forth in email and even though I told him I had two other companies I need to vet he was quick to place me on his schedule knowing that I needed the service completed quickly. Call it confidence to win a bid but it’s also excellent customer service. Operations Manager, Matt,, was out the next day to assess the need and I had a quote the end of the day. Needless to say, I think it’s obvious by me writing this review that Sierra Valley Mechanical won the bid. While they weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive, they had the best proposal and Matt highlighted needs the other two contractors neglected. That gave me assured that Sierra Valley Mechanical was the right company to do the job.

The process to accept the contract and receive the county, state, and federal rebates was effortless thanks to Suzy. She called when it was needed and emailed when it wasn’t. In no time, all the rebates were taken care of and the contract signed.

The crew arrived on-time and introduced themselves. Francisco, Kris, and Eric were friendly and made an effort to work without disrupting our daily household activities. It only took them about a day and a half to complete the project and when it was done, we had sweet cool air. There was no mess left behind the work was done top notch. Francisco wouldn’t leave until he was absolutely sure I was happy with everything. Since he left, you know I was. :)

Sierra Valley Mechanical did such a great job on my system that I had them back two weeks later to replace the second smaller living quarters HVAC which was running fine. I wanted to take advantage of the rebates and quite frankly, loved the performance of the Bosch on the other side of the house that I just had to have my entire house running Bosch. Even though this job was tougher than the first, the same crew did a great job and was done within two days again. They rocked.

Hands down, if you need a new HVAC system, give Sierra Valley Mechanical a call and tell them you want Francisco, Kris, and Eric working on the job. You won’t be disappointed.
